Meeting of December 12, 2011

The meeting of the Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen was called to order by President Jim Van Daley. The club performed the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for our Military.

Secretary’s Report: The minutes of the November 14, 2011 meeting were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report: General Account: N/A Charity Account: N/A

Trustee Report: Nothing to report.

G.A.B.T Report: Nothing to report.

In House Tournament: Striper and Perch ongoing.

Open Tournament: Nothing to report.

Sunshine: Jerry Dinger has been in and out of the hospital.

Club Picnic: Nothing to report.

Federation: Nothing to report.

NJ Marine Fisheries: Ed attended a focus group sponsored by the MAFMC to get recreational fishermen more involved in the management process.

Hooked on Fishing: Nothing to report.

Web Site & Facebook: Members should go the club FACEBOOK page and become a friend.

Communication:Nothing to report.
New Applications:None.

Unfinished Business: Raffle: Jim will follow up with city council. We now have a raffle license in Galloway, Ed Goldman has tickets and anyone needing tickets should call him at 335-8658.
Installation Dinner:Need a date for the dinner. Either 2/10 or 2/17.
