Strawberry torte by Heidi Tort

 

Ingredients for cake

3 eggs

1 c sugar

4 tlbs cold water

 

1 c flour

1 tlbs potato or corn starch

1.5 tsp baking powder

 

1-2 mashed bananas

1.5 c of vanilla pudding

3 c Strawberries, divided

1/3 c sugar

1 pint heavy cream

 

Mix eggs sugar and water in mixer for 5-10 min then stir in flour, starch and baking powder until blended. Grease 9” round baking pan add batter and bake at 350F for 35-40 min While cake’s in the oven prepare toppings: mash bananas, prepare vanilla pudding, in blender mix 1c of strawberries w 1/3 c of sugar, whip heavy cream and desired sugar until pretty firm

 

After cake cools, cut cake in 3 layers

Spread bananas on first layer, add vanilla pudding on top of bananas. On second layer strawberry/sugar mix. Top cake w whip cream and decorate with sliced strawberries. Enjoy!

 

Store in fridge.
