Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen

Meeting of March 12, 2012

The meeting of the Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen was called to order by President Jim Van Daley. The club performed the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for our Military.

Secretary’s Report:The minutes of the February 13, 2012 meeting were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report: General Account: N/A Charity Account: N/A

Trustee Report:The budget was reviewed in detail and voted on and approved.

G.A.B.T Report:Ed Goldman reported as of this time they have about the same amount of entrants for their tournament as this time last year.

In House Tournament: There were some rule changes as noted in the board meeting minutes. Joe Ricciardi will make up a calendar for the New Year.

Open Tournament:The open tournament will be held the third Saturday of July (7/21).

Sunshine:Nothing to report.

Club Picnic:Will be held the first Sunday after Labor Day.

Federation:Once again a great dinner and well attended. The 50/50 was $1820. The federation youth shoot is to be held Saturday.

NJ Marine Fisheries: Nothing to report.

Field of Dreams:The field of dreams boat trip will be determined in the future.

Hooked on Fishing:To be held May 12 at patriot lake. (Same day as in house tournament)

Communication:Nothing to report.

New Applications:None.

Unfinished Business:May 14, see flyer. Dues are due, pay up.
Installation Dinner:Nothing to report..

New Business:Southern Regional fish club will be holding their annual fishing gear sale. Member dues are due now – $35.

Elections:Nothing to report.

Good of the Order:Nothing to report.
