Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen

Meeting of September 26, 2011
The meeting of the Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen was called to order by President Jim Van Daley. The club performed the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for our Military.

Secretary’s Report: The minutes of the September 12, 2011 meeting were approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report: General Account: N/A Charity Account: N/A

Trustee Report: Nothing to report.

G.A.B.T Report: Chinese auction will be held at the Parkertown fire house on October 1, 3-5 PM. drawing starting at 5PM.

In House Tournament: Striper and Perch ongoing.

Open Tournament: Nothing to report.

Sunshine: No report of anyone sick.

Club Picnic: Lou provided final tally with the club making a small amount. An outstanding job by all who helped.

Federation: Meeting 2nd Thursday in October.

NJ Marine Fishery: 2006 Regulatory package should pass in 2012.

Hooked on Fishing: Nothing to report.

ASWS Web Site: Add GABT Chinese auction event to Web and Facebook.

Communication: A few bank statements.

New Applications: None.

Unfinished Business: Need to send thank you letters to the sponsors of the open tournament.
Raffle: Need to make sure correct ticket information. Application needs to be submitted in early January.
Installation Dinner: Nothing to report.

New Business: Need to start thinking about the 2012 raffle.

Elections: Nominations open in October.

Good of the Order: Lou and Ed attended Wild Outdoor Expo and had a good time.
