The meeting opened with a salute to the flag and a moment of silence for our troops, with President Jim Van Daley presiding. The minutes of May 11 were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was read and approved.

TRUSTEES: No report.
GACF: The tournament was somewhat disappointing, only 24 boats entered. There were only 7 weigh ins. Bass Pro shop won the tournament.
SUNSHINE: A couple of the club members visited Olie last week.
FEDERATION: There will be a meeting on June 11.
WEBSITE/FACEBOOK: The kid’s bluefish tournament pictures were posted to both the web site and Facebook. Facebook page is up to 95 likes. The domain name service with GoDaddy was paid, which covers the web site name for another 10 years.

TOURNAMENTS: The kids bluefish tournament was a great time this year, there were many fish weighed in over 10 lbs. The winner weighed in at 15.61 lbs. There was a suggestion that the tournament should end at noon since it appeared all entries were in by that time. There was talk to try and get a grant from Trenton. There was also discussion about not using cash as a prize. We need to organize the pictures so the names are associated with them. Paul reported the Land and Sea tournament is doing better; now up to 24 entries and 6 fish have been weighed in. Charlie won the Log Cabin tournament.
