Meeting of October 12, 2009

The meeting of the Absecon Saltwater Sportsmen was called to order by President Jim VanDaley
The Pledge of Allegiance was followed by a moment of silence for our troops.

The floor was opened to Colby Hawkinson & Les Murray from US Fish & Wildlife who gave a presentation
On Monofilament line recycling line program.

Secretary’s Report: Minutes of September 14, 2009 accepted as presented.

Treasurer’s report: General Account: Open $1715.91, Close $1715.91. Charity Account: Open: $1,241.68
Close: $1,876.56
Board of Trustees: Meeting, 7 pm, November 11th @ Pres. Van Daley’s

G.A.B.T: Sponsor Dinner at Pleasantville Yacht Club November 7th

In-House Tournaments: Striper and Perch divisions still going on.

City Council: none

Sunshine: All well!
Picnic:

Federation: NJOA rally to be held in Trenton on October 24, Hopes on having 10,000 sportsmen attending.

N.J Marine Fisheries : Sea bass fishing shut down in Federal waters from 3 to 200 miles.
